11. Ceaïti Nu Bheildiuin, Ireland 1958

Ceaïti Ni Bheildiüin won many prices nationally honoured
for excellence in Irish language literature).
As an artist, Ní Bheildiúin has created multi-media
installations combining poetry with video and sound.
Her art has been widely exhibited both in Dublin and
on the Dingle Peninsula, indicative, perhaps,
of her openness to both the urban and the pastoral
elements of her work. Her poems, like her art,
grapple with concepts of transformation and time                                                                   bron: poetryinternationalweb.net

FROG
Frog ag machnamh mé
a shuíonn gan chorraí

ag sú focal ó shláthach
trí mo chraiceann tanaí

guím ar Heqet na hÉigipte
bandia na bhfrog

bandia na mban-chabhartha
dánta mo chuid ubhán

a sheoladh slán
ina mbád beag páir ar an saol.
